Mambrui
The Golden Beach
The perfect spot 10 Months per year!

​Mambrui, a pearl to discover, located at around 12 km from Malindi's town. A village 90% populated by the Giriama tribe (Ghiriama) known for their affability and sense of rhythm, they will guide you wherever you want with their Piki-Piki.
Here you will discover a different side of the Kenyan coast. With 35 km of wide wild beach, you will also be able to kite in complete freedom.​​
The Sabaki River Mouth
The Athi-Galana-Sabaki, it is the second longest river after the Tana river. It has a total length of 390 km and a reservoir of 70,000 km².The first part is called Athi; the second part is called Galana or Sabaki.
Find its mouth not far from Mambrui; reachable with a PIKI-PIKI (motorbike) from the beach or from the road.

With the low tide and a bit of luck you can spot the elegant pink flamingos or the big hippos.
The saltworks of Marereni, Kadzuhoni
Two Villages just north of Mambrui;
the whole economy of these oases is based on their salt pans.
The precious "white gold" is extracted directly from the ocean and then sent around Kenya.
The Gongoni's
vegetable market
Gongoni is another agglomeration of houses.
It is well known for its fruits and vegetables market, where you can see the most skilled traders at work practicing the art of negotiation.
Ras Ngomeni
Last part of the cliff that marks the end of the Golden Beach. It is the perfect spot for lobster and crab's fishermen.
A fantastic dive into the past to see how the ocean has always supported these populations.
Marafa
Also known as "HELL'S KITCHEN"
(the Kitchen of the Devil).
It is an impressive, deep canyon where the sunset almost changes the landscape, creating a breathtaking view and a romantic atmosphere.
